The SUGAR VALLEY Oxilife salt electrolysis system is a system for water treatment for swimming pools up to a size of 60 m³ with pH value and redox measurement and control .

They know that sea water is healthy, but salty (salinity 2,5 - 3,5%). In your pool, however, a salt content of 0.3-0.5% is sufficient to be able to take a refreshing dip in the mild salt water at any time. Furthermore, this salt content is already sufficient to ensure safe disinfection of the swimming pool water.

In the case of water disinfection by means of hydrolysis, the atoms are split by means of electrolysis in order to disinfect your pool water, at the same time the chlorine content in the water is minimized. The Oxilife hydrolysis system generates disinfectants such as OH, ozone, oxygen and hydrogen peroxide through the action of electricity on water. After cleaning, these quickly degrade into water again.

Functional principle:

The disinfection principle of the OXILIFE is based on the splitting of H and O atoms in the water molecule (H2O), which creates active ingredients with a highly effective disinfection performance (stronger than chlorine). In addition, a very small amount of salt (only 1 to 1.5g of salt per liter of water required) is used to ensure a residual chlorine content in the pool via secondary salt water electrolysis.

During the filter operation, the pool water runs through the electrolysis cell, which splits the salt in the water and free chlorine is generated to disinfect the pool water. The free chlorine fights bacteria, germs and other pathogens and removes all organic matter in the water, thus also unpleasant smells from bound chlorine.  

Advantages of hydrolysis:

• Commissioning is possible from a salt content of 1.5kg salt per m³ of water
• Reduced chlorine production compared to classic salt water electrolysis, perfect pool water with less chlorine at the same time

The system also works with a lower salt content than the recommended 1.5g / l pool water, as well as with a very high salt concentration. Bathing in the pool with sea water is therefore no problem. The salt content of the water is displayed on the device.

The SUGAR VALLEY Oxilife system can also be retrofitted in existing swimming pools, making sure that only built-in parts made of plastic, bronze and heat exchangers made of titanium are used in the pool.

IMPORTANT! All information on pool sizes refer to pool water temperatures of up to 28 ° C! At higher temperatures than 28 ° C, you have to reduce the indicated pool size by approx. 25%.
