The SUGAR VALLEY Hidrolife salt electrolysis system is a device for water treatment for swimming pools up to a size of 65 m³ with pH value and redox measurement and control .

 You know: Sea water is healthy, but salty (salt content 2.5 - 3.5%). In your pool, however, a salt content of 0.3-0.5% is sufficient to be able to take a refreshing dip in the mild salt water at any time. Furthermore, this salt content is already sufficient to ensure safe disinfection of the swimming pool water.

Working principle:

The pool water is salted up with up to 3 kg of evaporated salt per m³ (usually 1-2 times a year, as the salt in the pool is lost through backwashing processes, etc.).
During the filter operation, the pool water runs through the electrolysis cell, which splits the salt in the water and free chlorine is generated to disinfect the pool water. The free chlorine fights bacteria, germs and other pathogens and removes all organic matter in the water, thus also unpleasant smells from bound chlorine.  

The system also works with a lower salt content than the recommended 3g / l pool water, as well as with a very high salt concentration. Bathing in the pool with sea water is therefore no problem. The salt content of the water is displayed on the device.

The disinfection principle is based on the splitting of H and O atoms in the water molecule (H2O), which creates active ingredients with a highly effective disinfection performance (stronger than chlorine). In addition, a very small amount of salt (only 3 g of salt per liter of water required) is used to ensure a residual chlorine content in the pool via secondary salt water electrolysis.

The SUGAR VALLEY Hidrolife system can also be installed retrospectively in existing swimming pools, making sure that only built-in parts made of PVC and heat exchangers made of titanium are used in the pool.

IMPORTANT! All information on pool sizes refer to pool water temperatures of up to 28 ° C! At higher temperatures than 28 ° C, you have to reduce the indicated pool size by approx. 25%.
